Problem Determinants
The impacts of social distancing has proven to reduce communicable disease transmission but due to common carelessness of people its very difficult to perform contact tracing and prevent others form becoming infected.
Solution

Description – Eir's wearable module is an smart IoT-based real-time body temperature monitoring system that utilizes light-weight sensors to co-operate and sense nearby network of other Eir wearables which in turn alerts the user when the social distance proximity range is breached.

Results Achieved – Overall this system identifies the act of poor social distancing or overcrowding in an indoor and outdoor environment by providing the real-time body temperature plot and the accurate GPS location of the user. This system is applicable in areas where crowd control management, contact tracing, and patient monitoring are required.
